Mr Nobumitsu Akai

Mr. Akai holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, a testament to his dedication to academic excellence.

His professional journey commenced at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he spearheaded projects in the African market, notably in Kenya and Malawi, under various international development initiatives. Subsequently, he held pivotal roles at Calpis Co., Ltd., where he played a crucial part in global strategy and marketing, particularly focusing on animal feed products.

With a keen eye for international markets, Mr. Akai served as the General Manager of European Representative Offices for both Calpis Co., Ltd. and Asahi Calpis Wellness, overseeing operations and regulatory affairs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His tenure in the United Kingdom also involved expanding into the US market, demonstrating his strategic vision and adaptability.

Since August 2019, Mr. Akai has continued to demonstrate his leadership prowess as the Director of International Business at JFR Group, where he focuses on feed, food, and environmental sectors across key regions such as the EU, UK, US, and ex-CIS countries.
